Both plants have state of the art Engineering facilities, with a common 3D CAD System.

All designs and details are totally accessible to all, from either country.

The Engineered product is common throughout the world, only requiring control equipment changes to support local services and customer specifications.

R&D is shared between the two sites, with both having facilities for internal projects and development as well as accommodating customer test grinds.

   Monthly Sales Engineering meetings, ensure a common global R&D strategy.

The UK plant is unique in the fact that it has a fully integrated manufacturing facility. It is extremely competitive and is able to supply all machined major castings for both plants as well as other companies within the Fives Cinetic group.


The key elements of the Landis Grinding machines remain in total control of our company, ensuring on time delivery and quality every time. Some of the equipment on site includes:-

 •  Cubic FMS CNC machining cell

 •  CNC heavy parts machining cell

 •  Precision slide ways grinding machinery

 •  Multi function machining centres

The US company moved into a new, purpose built plant in October 2008. Adopting best in class processes for the construction of “precision” machine tools, the facility ensures a rapid yet smooth work flow, guaranteeing machines are built to the highest standard and shortest delivery.

The UK site has undergone many recent changes, adopting almost identical assembly methodology, it too prides itself on build quality and on time deliveries.

Such is the commonality, that both sites are able to call on each other resources to smooth out the cyclic trends of the global machine tool market.

Both sites offer the perfect environment for machine demonstrations. With temperature controlled checking rooms, equipped with the latest technology. We even offer our customers their own offices, with Wi-Fi and all the equipment necessary to make the most of their valuable time, throughout their visits.
